The Esquires were one of Canada's best bands of the 1960s. They won the first Juno Award for Vocal/Instrumental Group of the Year in 1965. They were also the first Canadian band to have an album released, and the first Canadian group to make music videos. They started as a Cliff Richard & the Shadows cover band and eventually turned into a tough, R&B flavoured group.
2 national hits, "So Many Other Boys" and "It's A Dirty Shame" are included, along with their other singles, some live cuts and some unreleased demo recordings. Also included is the hit song "Higher & Higher" by Esquires off-shoot Canada Goose.
